ATLANTA – Women in Technology’s annual fund-raiser drew a record crowd and donations at its recent annual fund-raiser. The group, which is part of the Technology Association of Georgia, drew more than 400 people and raised more than $125,000 at its ninth annual WIT Connect event. Proceeds will benefit WIT’s WIT on Track and Girls Get IT initiatives. WIT on Track offers an internship in IT or related fields for women from the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention's Second Chance Homes Program. The IT program focuses on working with girls who might be interested in entering the IT field.
